1 teaspoon kosher or fine sea salt

Olive oil, for tossing

FOR THE SHRIMP

1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive or vegetable oil

1 medium shallot, minced

1½ pounds (680 g) raw medium shrimp, peeled and deveined

½ teaspoon minced fresh dill

Kosher or fine sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
